Teamwork
The world is connected by teamwork in an infinite number of ways that impact sport and life. Successful teamwork is a combination of many variables along with managing challenges that arise requiring such qualities as creativity, flexibility, organization, communication, and a strong work ethic. Whether we are playing an individual sport and/or engaged in activities in life that are independent in nature teamwork is essential. Sport as Life cultivates the necessary foundation for effective teamwork skills in all aspects sport and life.

Performance
Each day of life we are on stage and are performing. There are times we perform to our expectations in the numerous activities that we engage in and at other times our performance does not meet our standards. Regardless, there is always opportunity to improve how we perform in all aspects of sport and in life. Performance is a blend of physical and mental abilities that can be enhanced through cultivating the mind with specific training and practice. Sport as Life supports the development of mindsets that promote growth and resilience.

Mental Health
To be human is to have mental health just as it is to have physical health. The mind and body connect to provide a vast array of experiences in sport and life that influence our being in the world and the relationships we most desire. Sport can greatly increase one’s mental health and wellness towards fulfillment and joy in both their chosen sport(s) and in other aspects of life. Sport as Life is committed to promoting and supporting mental health as an essential component of success for all.
